Waking up to Winter 2/22/08
This is the view I woke up to this morning, looking out the window next to my bed. I love the snow-- makes me homesick for Colorado.
It also represents my evolution as a FlipUltra filmmaker. :)
The music is Concerto No. 4 in F minor "L'Inverno" (Winter), movement 2, Largo, from Vivaldi's The Four Seasons, performed by Nigel Kennedy.

Dr. Randy Pausch - from Oprah
My friend Suzanne sent this link to me. Take the 10 minutes to watch it!
Kitty Posting Re-Dux
I think I figured out how to 1) get videos off of my FlipUltra, 2) Edit--although it needs to still be shorter, 3) Create titles and closing credits, and 4) Add my choice of music.
Woo HOO! This is going to be fun.

Settling in for the Night
I am pretty sure that nobody will find this post overly stimulating after the first few seconds, if THAT long, but I am just learning how to use my new FlipUltra Camcorder that I got for my birthday (thanks Lynne, Dad, and Matt!). I still need to learn to clip and edit the videos and choose my own music-- I wanted to play Disney's "The Aristocats"-- But this is a start.
UPDATE: SEE POST ABOVE INSTEAD-- I FIGURED OUT A FEW MORE THINGS! :)

Workman's Comp?
Debbie R. ran over my foot at work with her monstrous juvie cart. She laughed. She laughed so hard there were tears streaming down her face. I, meanwhile looked down to see my SQUISHED foot and nearly destroyed Payless shoes. Humph!
Do you think I could have gotten a little sympathy? Noooooooooooooo!

Birthday Week in Florida
2nd Cousin Sherry and Great Aunt Naomi (mom's side of the family)
Click here to see all the photos from my Ft. Myers trip, including an outing to Disney World, playing Catch Phrase with the extended family (any comments about rutabaga, anyone?) and a visit to Sue B's beautiful house (rebuilt after being destroyed in Hurricane Charley).
